Howell’s Experience | |||||||||||
| Krissy’s Experience The first time I was to meet Michael Port of The 90-Day Product Factory he didn't show up. He was a guest speaker on a conference call I attended, but he took some time out because his son, Jake, had been born the day before. Rather than being put off by an absent guest speaker, I was impressed by a father who was willing to drop everything for his family. A great role model for all of us would-be workaholics who need to be reminded occasionally of what we are really working for! I am a New Zealander living in Switzerland and as an isolated expatriate struggling to get my business off the ground I had often felt like I was banging my head against a brick wall. This year I did something that changed all that. I signed up for The 90-Day Product Factory an Online-learning learning environment supported by teleconferencing. I can honestly say that when I did my life and my business completely changed. The Product Factory provided me with a supportive global network of ambitious, adventurous, generous people in what I can only describe as a virtual business community. In such a rich environment, it was much easier to see and act on opportunities. In six months my fledgling business grew into an established success and I now work comfortably at levels I thought would take me years to achieve. It was an intense process, but combining enthusiasm with the structure of The Product Factory made the course a pleasure. |

| In May 2005 The Product Factory bought together a phenomenal 140 entrepreneurs from all over the world. We worked and learned together for 12 weeks. We were encouraged to bring our expertise and knowledge to the table to help and support others in the group. Our diverse backgrounds provided robust networking and resources. We built strong relationships and friendships with people we would otherwise probably never have met. On top of this was the actual structure of the program. The 12 weeks were divided into three modules
Every Monday the program leaders, Michael Port and Mitch Meyerson, hosted a telephone call on subjects in these categories. Often a guest expert joined these calls and each week Michael and Mitch assigned tasks to help us learn the material. We were given extensive resources to help us organise our time and achieve the goal of the week. |

The Product Factory gave me the confidence to integrate into my local community right here in Switzerland. The confidence I needed to push my business to success stimulated me to find a local photographer, recording studio, printers, bar codes and everything else needed to launch my product successfully. |
